Just at the corner of the Plaza de Armas, this convent is standing on the place with the same name, where in the center there is a fountain with a bronze sculpture representing pumas and inhabitants in traditional clothes. The museum has some nice pieces of religious art from the School of Cusco, and very large murals along the walls that represent birds, plants and exotic flowers. It also has colonial furniture and wax statues representing the daily life in the monastery when there were more than 12 nuns, approximate number of the today inhabitants.
